Lunch & Learn: Stewards of Hope - Discernment in Building a Health LOSS Team

Sarah Price, will share and answer questions from the perspective of a loss survivor and former leader of the Columbus Ohio LOSS Volunteer Team. During our Lunch and Learn, participants can engage with Sarah and Denise Meine-Graham and should expect the following outcomes:

• Learn why practical steps in recruitment are important,

• Preparing for initial conversation/interview and defining potential volunteer readiness indicators,

• Discuss red flag indicators to watch for during initial conversations,

• Identify strategies for saying "not yet" or "not a fit" in a way that protects the LOSS Team mission and the prospective volunteer,

• Share self-wellness steps that should be in place for supporting healthy volunteers to prevent burnout.
